Andrew Stevens’ passion for radio began in 1993, and it has remained his ambition ever since to build a career in broadcasting.
During his time in Hospital Radio, Andrew gained invaluable experience both on and off the air. He attended numerous training weekends, roadshows and fundraising events, where he learned from experienced broadcasters and met people from across the radio industry. These experiences played a huge part in developing his broadcasting skills and building his confidence, helping him grow from a shy teenager into a confident radio presenter.
In 2011, Andrew took the next step in his broadcasting journey by joining an FM radio station in Hayes, West London, where he continued to develop his presenting style and on-air experience. His ultimate ambition has always been to work in the radio industry full-time—a dream he has pursued with dedication since first stepping behind the microphone over three decades ago.
Today, Andrew brings his passion for great music, engaging conversation and entertaining radio to Image Radio UK. With a warm, friendly presentation style and a love of timeless classics alongside today’s favourites, he keeps listeners entertained with great music, interesting stories and a genuine enthusiasm for broadcasting.
